For the mixologist in training…

A Boston-shaker set is key to learning the art of bartending. This set includes a stainless steel shaker (one that won’t get stuck together or clogged!), a jigger, 2 strainers, a muddler as well as a bar spoon. We’d love to teach you how to fully utilize this bar set in a cocktail class or two ;)

For the tequila enthusiast…

Salt may not look like much - but to someone who takes their tequila seriously, they also usually have a preference on everything else that accompanies their beverage - including the salt rim. This Casamigos brand of pink Himalayan salt will give a wonderful finish to any shot glass or margarita that the tequila-lover in your life will appreciate. Casamigos also produces a chile rim salt for rimming that can add a spicier element.

For the whiskey sipper...

This product is SO cool and innovative. A one stop shop for a cold, trendy rocks glass that won’t dilute your whiskey, bourbon, rye or even sipping tequila. This is one of our favorite products this year -- functional and fun.

To stock the bar cart…

We LOVE nothing more than a beautifully stocked and polished bar cart. We love to stock our bar carts with classic (and useful!) glassware that can be used for many cocktails as well as a piece of interesting decor. Below we’ve linked a pair of crystal coupe glasses that would complete any gimlet, champagne or martini lovers glassware set!

For the reader…

Cocktail Codex is a must have for any budding (or experienced!) bartender. This book covers classic cocktails - old fashioned and martinis for example - and dives in with fresh renditions and history of the creation of the drink. This book is not only a beautiful coffee table book, it’s also extremely useful for any bartender looking to get a grasp on the composition of traditional cocktail recipes.

For the beer drinker…

This beer subscription service offers options from SO many breweries (some of which are from our lovely city of Nashville as well as Orange County!). We love supporting small businesses and this company does this by supporting smaller breweries in a big way.

For the wino…

The BarBees absolutely love a good conversation starter. There’s nothing like an interesting bottle of wine to start that! This year - we’ve been a bit more adventurous with our wine tasting and have delved into “orange” (meaning with skin-contact!) wines. These wines are a bit more rustic tasting and definitely leave room for conversation because of how uncommon these are on a dinner table. We’ve linked one of our favorites (inexpensive too!) as well as an article to further explain this interestingly hued wine.
