Virtual Classes: From Booking to Last Drop

February 24, 2021

From booking ‘til the last sip, we aim to make your BarBees experiences as smooth as can be. Every virtual event requires close attention to detail, and we’ll walk you through each step to ensure that your event is as connective and valuable as possible.

Our standard class is 45 minutes, and we’ll teach you two cocktails, along with other bartending tips. For corporate groups, we also offer 15 to 20 minute classes to kick off team meetings. Whatever you have in mind, we can likely accommodate.

The booking process:

  • You’ll fill our our inquiry form and let us know some general information about your virtual event. If you don’t have all the answers, don’t worry! We can usually accommodate changes up until the last minute.

  • We’ll get back to you, usually within a day, with all of the pricing information for your event.

  • After we confirm your date and time, we’ll send some cocktail suggestions based on any information you’ve already provided. Want a themed class? We can make that happen! Want to learn classic cocktails? Done! Want fresh, seasonal craft cocktails? You’re speaking our language! We’ll figure out the perfect cocktails for the occasion.

  • Once we’ve solidified cocktails, we’ll send you a shopping list, recipe cards, and if needed, we’ll send along a link for attendees to join.

Preparing for your class:

  • A few days out, hit the grocery store with your shopping list and get all the supplies needed. Most of our cocktails can be made as mocktails, so if you’re not feeling like getting boozy, you can skip that step. Also, if you’d rather pass on the type of liquor we recommend, ask us if you can substitute it! Often, the answer is YES.

  • If your recipes require it, make your honey simple syrup ahead of time. When we send along your recipe cards, you’ll see one for our signature honey simple syrup. You can make this a few days ahead of time, and seal it in an air tight container and store in the fridge. This will last up to two weeks in the fridge.

During the class:

  • Get all your supplies organized and get ready to shake things up! We’ll walk you through how to make each cocktail and give you a chance to connect with your family, friends, and coworkers. Connection is our favorite part of the class–as best friends, Founders Jess and Willow believe that there is nothing like a good cocktail to spark conversation.

After your class:

  • Be sure to leave a review and post a photo on social media! If you enjoyed your BarBees class, we’d love to hear your feedback :)

We look forward to shaking things up with you!
